Are you one of those peoples who wished Girl Scout cookies were sold all year long? I hear your plight. My favorite are the samoa cookies! How can you possibly go wrong with chocolate, coconut, and caramel?
I feel like every single food blogger in the history of food blogs has paid homage to Nutella with at least one Nutella recipe. This is by no means the only Nutella recipe that I plan to make and share with you guys, but I’m going to start off with this ridiculously simple recipe for Nutella cookies that has only FOUR ingredients!! (5 if you count the optional sea salt)
They’re chock-full of Nutella flavor, super fudgy, and taste even better the next day! So if you have the self-control I highly recommend you make these the day before you plan on eating/serving them.
Also, pair these with a glass of cold milk for the ultimate cookie experience!
Step 1: Measure out your Nutella
|Look at all that gloriousness|
All gone 😦 But fear not, my friends, because it is being put to good use
Step 2: Combine the 4 ingredients
Step 3: Bake and enjoy!
Ø I’m a big believer in freezing cookie dough before baking. So try to freeze the dough for at least an hour- this prevents the cookie from spreading quickly and results in a fudgier cookie (I only froze mine for 10 minutes, so the cookies ended up having a crispy edge, which I don’t care for- but if you do, then go for it!) Next time I will freeze for at least an hour.
Ø Sprinkle a little sea salt on top, to add a nice contrast to the strong chocolaty flavor
Ø I also definitely recommend making these the day before eating/serving them, because they really do taste better the next day!! This allows all the ingredients to kind of mush together to create a delicious cookie!
